Kia Ora and thank you for visiting my blog.
Ever since I decided to train as a teacher nearly 10 years ago I have always been passionate about making a difference and using technology. Today as I start to blog about my teaching, and reflect on both the good and the bad, I take a step outside my comfort zone to share all of my learning with YOU!
For the last 6 years I have been teaching at a primary school in Dunedin, New Zealand. Over this time I have learnt a lot about myself and about the educator that I am. One thing that I have always found hard to do is professionally reflecting on my teaching.
This Blog has been set up to help me reflect and improve my teaching. I hope that by sharing my teaching and learning with you I will improve my day to day teaching. I also hope that you will benefit greatly by sharing your learning with me as we go.
I hope that you will sign up to my blog and help me by giving me critical “feed-forward” and maybe share some of your classroom practices with me and my other followers.
Please check out my class wikispace – http://weareroom1.wikispaces.com and leave my class some comments as well.
I look forward to sharing my teaching world with you 🙂
Good luck with the blog Craig. starting my own has been my challenge this holiday as well.
Thanks 🙂 Please spread the word and once I get posting would love your professional opinions and thoughts about my teaching and theories …
Welcome to the bloggersphere 🙂 sharing is good, and blogging is better! Beginning a blog is a brave professional step and I am sure you will be reaping the rewards in no time at all.
Thanks Marama – I appreciate your feedback – please follow along and leave feedback for me along the way – Share my blog and I look forward to learning with you.
Well done Craig, just back from NAPP conference and you are doing what inspirational teachers/leaders should be doing. I really should follow suit. By the way cool font!
Go Craig! Looking forward to reading your reflections on teaching and learning.
Starting a professional learning blog has provided me with some of the most powerful learning ever.
Thank you Emma and Justine – stay tuned – hopefully I will get some great feedback from you all.
